Part 1
Fabric requirements
If you allow 3/4 yard each of darks and mediums and at least 1 3/4 yards of lights you should have a bit left over for the binding (you may use a bit less if you are careful).
Now for lots and lots of cutting! ! !
Dark cut 3 strips 2" x 22" (label A)
Medium cut 6 strips 2" x 22" (label B)
Light cut 9 strips 3 1/2" x 22" (label C)
Dark cut 3 strips 2" x 9" (label D)
Medium cut I strip 2" x 9" (label E)
Light cut 2 strips 2" x 9" (label F)
Light cut 1 strip 2" x 22" crosscut into 4 rectangles 2" x 5" (label G)
Medium cut 12 by 4" squares (label H)
Light cut 12 by 4" squares (label J)
Light cut 12 by 3 1/2" squares (label K)
Dark cut 2 by 10 1/4" squares, crosscut twice diagonally to give 8 triangles (label L)
Medium cut 1 by 10 1/4" square, crosscut twice diagonally to give 4 triangles (label M)
Light cut 1 by 10 1/4" square, crosscut twice diagonally to give 4 triangles (label N)
Light cut 28 by 5" squares (label P)
Medium cut 4 by 5" x 9 1/2" rectangles (label Q)
Dark cut 8 by 5" x 9 1/2" rectangles (label R)
Light cut 5 by 3 1/2" squares (label S)
Light cut 1 by 41/4" square, crosscut twice diagonally to give 4 triangles (label T)
Medium cut 1 by 41/4" square, crosscut twice diagonally to give 4 triangles (label V)
Dark cut 2 by 4 1/4" squares, crosscut twice diagonally to give 8 triangles (label W)End of part 1. Now put all your labelled pieces away and wait for the next part.
