Karen Parry  :  Needles!  :  20 November 2017

The speaker at our November meeting was Karen Parry of John James Needles.  She gave a highly informative and entertaining talk on the manufacture and use of needles, describing the different types of needles and their uses.  Goody bags contained not only gifts of needle packs but charts of sizes and types of needle to enable us to identify the needles that we have all collected over the years and decades.  Of course, we managed to fit in some retail therapy at the end of the evening - after all, there is no such thing as having too many needles!
